The rooms were very clean and spacious, and there was a lovely balcony with a view of the garden; the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Make sure you stay in the guest room with the view of the mountain.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the center of Catania. The staff, especially Jessica and Carmine, were amazing and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a nice balcony overlooking the backyard. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of authentic coffee and super tasty cappuccino. For the price, this hotel offers excellent value for money and is located conveniently in the heart of the city.

That there was no kettle in the room.

Very, very meagre breakfast : I saw one woman look at what was on offer and refuse everything except a coffee! I have stayed in the same room four times. in 2009 it cost €49, this time it was €99 + €12 for the car park. The shower door still doesn't close despite my commenting on it every time I stay. There is a huge damp patch on the wall of the bedroom - this has grown twofold since 2011.

This was business travel and the reception desk was not able or willing to add the business address on the receipt. It appeared to be an easy task but they refused as it appeared to be to troublesome for them. This is not normal considering the price of the rooms.

The staff here is very friendly and always ready to assist, and the breakfasts are just right for me.

We loved our stay in this lovely hotel! It was conveniently located close to the city center and the beautiful squares. We enjoyed having a cafe right next door for a quick coffee. Our room was spacious and clean, with a nice view from the balcony. The friendly staff provided excellent service and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel also had great amenities, such as a pool and air conditioning.

The cleanliness of the room could have been better, as there was some dust on the furniture and in the cupboard.

Location is Ok, but house numbering at via Etnea is not contiguous, look map first :) Adequate service, simple breakfast.

WiFi does not work at 1st floor, only at the lobby. Wired room internet has no use with iPad.

The hotel had a great location just about a kilometer from the historic center of Catania. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Parking (once we found it) was easy and adjacent to the hotel. Room was a good size, with two small balconies. Price was EXTREMELY economical for the size of the room and the location.

While there were several small imperfections, they were quite easy to overlook given the LOW price of our room. The air conditioning in our room was quite weak, and only really began to cool the room down after we left and returned several hours later. We were put in the annex, which required a key to a second door and an old/small elevator to use, which was somewhat inconvenient given our amount of baggage, but not horrible. Parking was difficult to find (had to double park and ask the hotel staff), but once they explained it was really conveniently located. Breakfast was somewhat limited.

Overall the service was friendly.
